Authorities arrested an Ascension Catholic High School teacher following an investigation into alleged inappropriate behavior with juveniles.

Willie J. Depron, 29, of 219 St. Vincent St., Donaldsonville, was arrested and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail on Feb. 9, according to Ascension Parish sheriff’s deputies.

Depron was released Feb. 10 on $30,000 bond, deputies said.

A school administrator reported Jan. 27 to the Sheriff’s Office that juvenile female students said that Depron participated in inappropriate sexual conversations and behavior with the students on the school’s campus, according to deputies.

Detectives obtained sufficient information and evidence to issue a warrant for Depron, charging him with one count of molestation of a juvenile, two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and one count of false imprisonment.
