Police seek robbery suspects

Surveillance video captured two male suspects at around 1:30 p.m. Nov. 5. Police said three men stole $700 worth of cigarettes from Moe’s Discount store.

Gonzales Police reported the theft of $700 worth of cigarettes from a convenience store.

Police said three men are suspected of robbing Moe’s Discount, 1546 N. Burnside Ave., Gonzales, at around 1:30 p.m. Nov. 5.

The robbery apparently happened when the clerk went to get some items from under the counter for two men wearing striped polo shirts.

A third man reportedly stole a box of about 18 cartons of cigarettes.

The robbers may have driven away in a black, two-door Chevrolet Monte Carlo, according to police.
