Ascension men arrested on Internet sex offenses

New Orleans Police arrested two Ascension Parish men and a New Orleans man for indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer aided solicitation of a minor.

The department identified the three as 33-year-old Clifford Guynes Jr. of Prairieville, 22-year-old Michael Featherston of Gonzales and 23-year-old Michael Wendland of New Orleans.

The offenses reportedly occurred between Feb. 11-15.

The NOPD worked with several local and national law enforcement gencies to make the arrests, according to a department spokesperson.

The undercover operations reportedly involved both Internet chat and an actual case of a suspect traveling to meet who he believed to be a minor for sex.
