One injured in St. Amant crash

Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash at the corner of Stringer Bridge and Beco Road Monday evening.

ST. AMANT – A two vehicle crash at the corner of Stringer Bridge and Beco Road resulted in moderate injuries for one local person, according to St. Amant Fire Chief James E. LeBlanc.

The St. Amant Fire Dept. Vehicle Rescue Team, Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police and Acadian Ambulance ground units responded to the accident at around 5:22 p.m. Monday.

LeBlanc said both drivers involved were local residents, and one person had to transported to an area hospital with moderate injuries.
