Mutual Aid meets

The 7th District Volunteer Fire Dept. hosted the Ascension Mutual Aid meeting at the new station on Hwy 44. The Mutual Aid consists of the east side fire departments, Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness and Acadian Ambulance. Special guests were Robert Triche of LSU Fire training and Crystal Cradeur of Matrx Medical. Triche discussed the upcoming Firefighter I and II class for 2009. Cradeur presented her company’s public safety vests. Tommy Tullier presented the proposed Volunteer Incentive Program.
