Woman accused of sexual relations with 15-year-old boy

Gonzales police arrested a 45-year-old woman who allegedly had sexual contact with a 15-year-old boy.

Angela Mayers, 43019 Sycamore Bend Ave., Gonzales, was arrested Tuesday and booked with obscenity, according to police.

An officer on patrol reportedly found Mayers and the teenager inside a parked car at the Gonzales

Municipal Park off Hwy. 44. Police said Mayers identified herself as a registered nurse.

Mayers was booked with additional charges of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile Thursday, according to police.

She was booked into Ascension Parish jail in Donaldsonville on a $160,000 bond.
