Gun, contraband found in student's vehicle at St. Amant High School

The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office investigated an incident at St. Amant High School, where a gun and contraband were found in a student's vehicle.

According to APSO, a discipline investigation led to a search of the vehicle on the school's campus along Hwy. 431.

Deputies reported there was no immediate threat to the campus.
