On January 9, shortly before 2 p.m., deputies responded to a vacant trailer on Connor Road in Geismar in reference to shots fired.

According to Sheriff Bobby Webre, upon deputies’ arrival, it was learned that three subjects, later identified as 22-year-old Eric Washington, 18-year-old Jaydin Johnson, and 21-year-old Jeramiah Hall, suffered gunshot wounds and were being treated at area hospitals. All are expected to recover from their injuries.

As the investigation continued, it was learned that a group of people gathered at this vacant trailer on Connor Road to film a music video when an argument began and then shots were fired. It is unclear at this time who the shooter is or if multiple shooters fired shots.

Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Detectives are continuing their investigation and more information will be available at a later date.
