APSO arrests five on multiple drug charges

A quantity of money, drugs and guns seized by APSO.

Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Division arrested five subjects on multiple drug charges on Wednesday, September 26.

According to Chief Deputy Bobby Webre, detectives received information that a Kevin Lazo was in possession of a large quantity of drugs. Detectives followed Lazo to a parking lot where he met with additional subjects in a vehicle. Detectives approached Lazo’s vehicle and located more than a pound of marijuana.

Detectives then located a quantity of Methamphetamine and Heroin, along with a stolen firearm in the other vehicle occupied by Irvin Green, Dominique Poulos, and Jon Miller.

All four subjects were placed under arrest. While detectives continued their search, Green managed to escape handcuffs and attempted to flee the scene on foot but was apprehended immediately.

As the investigation continued, detectives performed a search warrant on Lazo’s residence where an additional subject, later identified as Raelynn Guitreau, and two juveniles, were present in the home. Detectives located an additional amount of marijuana, over 1,000 Xanax pills, approximately 180 Adderall pills, an additional handgun that was reported stolen, and drug paraphernalia. Detectives also located approximately $14,000 in cash. Detectives also seized Lazo’s vehicle and motorcycle.

The two juveniles were released to next of kin and all subjects were arrested.

Kevin Lazo, 23, of 12399 Alex Kling Road, Geismar, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute Xanax, possession with intent to distribute Adderall, possession of stolen firearm, two counts illegal carrying of weapon, possession of Cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts possession of CDS in presence of persons under 17, distribution of marijuana, and distribution of Xanax. His bond was set at $215,000.

Irvin Green, 20, of 13222 English Rose Trail, Missouri City, Texas, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of Heroin, illegal possession of stolen firearm, illegal carrying of weapon, simple escape, and distribution of marijuana. His bond was set at $160,000.

Dominique Poulos, 20, of 1319 Hunter Green Lane, Fresno, Texas, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of Heroin, illegal possession of stolen firearm and illegal carrying of weapon. Her bond was set at $140,000.

Jon Miller, 21, of 9234 Gail Drive, Baton Rouge, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of Heroin, illegal possession of stolen firearm, and illegal carrying of weapon. His bond was set at $190,000.

Raelynn Guitreau, 21, of 12399 Alex Kling Road, Geismar, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute Xanax, possession with intent to distribute Adderall, possession of stolen firearm, illegal carrying of weapon, possession of Cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts possession of CDS in presence of persons under 17. Her bond was set at $120,000.

All were booked into the Ascension Parish Jail and all bonds were set by Judge Stromberg.
