TangerKIDS Grant Program opens call for entries

The TangerKIDS Grant Program is an initiative designed to award grant money to schools within the communities of Tanger Outlet Centers nationwide, and it has officially opened its call for entries within the Ascension Parish community.

"The TangerKIDS Grant Program was designed to satisfy the specific funding needs of local schools – from the implementation of school-wide programs, to rebuilding equipment and academic materials inventories, to supporting athletic or band programs," states a February 1 press release from General Manager Jeanne St. Germaine.

The press release further states that in 2017 Tanger awarded 1,034 individual grants to schools in need. Why not make your school the next recipient?

"Teachers and administrators from local schools may submit applications for programs and projects in which the majority of the activity will be completed between August 2018 and May 2019. Each school can submit multiple grant requests and each will be considered separately."
