The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is continuing its effort to arrest individuals who fail to appear in court after being arrested on felony or misdemeanor criminal charges. Chief Deputy Bobby Webre said the ongoing initiative is "Operation No Show."

People arrested on criminal charges are entitled to a bond. Once bonding out of jail, the individuals are given court dates to appear before a judge. Upon failing to appear in court, bench warrants are issued. The following individuals ignored their court dates and have been issued warrants:

Blaine Lee, 33, of 14508 Oak Meadow Road, Gonzales, is wanted on a felony bench warrant for battery on ER Personnel.

Steven Harris, 31, of 43244 Norwood Road, Prairieville, is wanted on a felony bench warrant for possession of CDS II, possession of CDS I, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jomichael Taylor, 26, of 18095 Little Prairie Road, Prairieville, is wanted on a felony bench warrant for two counts illegal carry of weapons, two counts possession with intent to distribute CDS I, possession of CDS IV, two counts possession of CDS II, possession of a legend drug without a prescription, two counts possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting an officer.

Timothy Wright, 52, of 37113 White Road, Prairieville, is wanted on a felony bench warrant for impersonation of a police officer and reckless operation.

Alexandro Price, 36, of 628 W. Jeansonne Ave., apartment 3, Gonzales, is wanted on a felony bench warrant for two counts possession with intent to distribute CDS I.

Webre said the Sheriff's Office is airing photographs and names of those who failed to appear in an effort to reduce these felony bench warrant numbers. Anyone with information is urged to contact APSO: 225-621-INFO (4636), or Crime Stoppers: 225-344-STOP (7867).
