Update: Man wanted for domestic abuse charges arrested

45-year-old Chad Elzy was arrested on Friday, July 7 in West Baton Rouge Parish by the Louisiana State Police Fugitive Apprehension Task Force.

According to Chief Deputy Bobby Webre, Elzy was wanted for second-degree battery, domestic abuse battery by strangulation, and unauthorized use of a movable.

Elzy was booked into the West Baton Rouge Parish Jail where he will be transported to the Ascension Parish Jail at a later date.
