East Ascension High School received an Ascension Fund Impact Grant for the 2015-16 school year. The funds, provided by the Roy Stern Memorial Endowment, largely contributed to the cost of a one-year subscription to MasteryPrep for more than 1900 students.

The program allows access to ACT Prep 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Through the purchase, students have had, and will continue to have, access to individualized instruction which mimics the ACT style of rigor through the summer and fall of 2016. In addition, teachers have the capacity to assign content-specific interactive lessons.

The program also facilitates teachers being mentors by holding students accountable. The March 1st ACT scores have indicated a statistically significant increase in scores in all grades.
