Gonzales resident wins H&R Block sweepstakes

On Feb. 12, H&R Block Tax Office 18353 awarded Gonzales resident Gavin York with a $1,000 check as part of the 1,000 win $1,000 Daily Sweepstakes. H&R Block gave away a total of $32 million in the first month of tax season. Anyone who filed their taxes at a participating H&R Block offices by Feb. 15 were be automatically entered into the sweepstakes in which 32,000 people won $1,000.
