Gonzales Police Dept. searching for man on theft related charges

The City of Gonzales Police Dept. is requesting the public’s assistance in their search for 35-year-old William Blair Miller. Miller’s last known address is listed as 25564 Poirrier Lane, Denham Springs.
Miller, a former employee of Robert Distributors, used a company credit card to make un-authorized purchases. It was found that Miller used a credit card issued to him to obtain work related items, but on Nov. 10, 2015, went to Home Depot and made a purchase which was not authorized by his supervisor.
Miller left Home Depot and shorty after got into an accident in a company vehicle. The items he purchased were not found in the truck. Miller was suspended pending a drug screen.
While suspended, Miller made more purchases on the card in excess of $1,000 between Baton Rouge and Denham Springs. He was positively identified via video surveillance at Home Depot in Gonzales as well as GPS on the company truck placing him at Home Depot.
The Denham Springs Police Dept. has issued felony warrants on Miller as well and are actively pursuing his apprehension.
Miller has a criminal history consisting mainly of narcotics and theft arrests since 1998.
