LSBDC launches eTraining program for entrepreneurs

With technology becoming the most convenient way to connect, the Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) developed and launched an eTraining program to help make its business expertise more convenient for entrepreneurs.

LSBDC Director of Marketing and Communications Na’Tisha Natt said the eTraining was developed as a way to help those entrepreneurs “who work full-time jobs or work full-time in their own business and can’t take time to develop their business or ideas because of current work schedules.”

“With this user-friendly, mobile-friendly and accessible program, we hope it helps us strengthen the small business community in all areas of the state,” Natt said. “It has a lot of features that should accommodate entrepreneurs’ schedule and technology devices.”

In celebration of the launch, the LSBDC is offering the eTraining courses with a 20 percent DISCOUNT for registrants when they enter COUPON CODE LSBDC20.  The eTraining has three courses currently available that are essential for entrepreneurs such as starting a business, increasing sales, and securing financing, and the LSBDC will implement more trainings in the future.

LSBDC State Director Rande Kessler said the eTraining is just another way for the LSBDC to continue “fostering the growth of the state’s economic development and the small business community.”

“We pride ourselves on being easily accessible to entrepreneurs,” Kessler said. “Our goal is continue with our mission of enhancing potential and existing small businesses.”

The LSBDC is beta testing the online video training program currently, which is hosted by Digital Chalk, a North Carolina company that offers robust, flexible online training software with a top-notch support team that puts users in control of training.
