Portion of Germany Road to be closed Tuesday, for construction

Ascension Parish President Kenny Matassa announced today that Germany Road will be closed to through traffic from Airline Highway (U.S. 61) to Braud Road on Tuesday, Jan. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon for road construction.

Ascension Parish Project Engineer Tacie Rabalais said construction crews with Quality Engineering Services, LLC will be replacing a culvert at that location.

Alternate routes include La. 929/Causey Road from the north, La. 44/N. Burnside Avenue from the east and LA. 621 from the south.
