Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is actively searching for 36-year-old Tondalynn Abraham, of Baker, who is wanted for aggravated battery and aggravated kidnapping.

According to Major Kevin Hanna, deputies were dispatched to Alligator Bayou Road on Saturday, Dec. 12 in reference to a disturbance that occurred in the roadway.

Deputies began an investigation and learned that Abraham owns a pressure washing business and she and an employee were traveling to the Ascension Parish area from Baker Saturday night when Abraham became upset with her employee from an incident that occurred the day before. Abraham was traveling in a pickup truck and made her employee sit in the bed of the truck against his will. He tried to escape but she was able to force him back into the truck.      The victim was found in a ditch with multiple lacerations to his head. Deputies began to assist the victim and observed Abraham fleeing the area at a high rate of speed. Abraham led deputies on a short pursuit but she was not located at that time. A short while later, deputies located the abandoned vehicle on Brown Road in Prairieville, Major Hanna said.
