City of Gonzales accepting sealed bids

Gonzales, LA - The City of Gonzales is accepting bids on a 1,582 sq. ft. wooden framed home located in front of Tee Joe Park at 624 Orice Roth Road in Gonzales.

Proposals will be received by City Clerk, Clay Stafford, at Gonzales City Hall, 120 South Irma Boulevard, Gonzales, no later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Sealed bids will be opened at 2:00 p.m. on that day. The home will go to the highest bidder.

A minimum bid has been set at $35,000. The winning bidder must move the home off of the current lot no later than 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.

If you would like to view the home, an Open House has been arranged for Thursday, November 5, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.

Bid Sheets and Information Sheets are currently available at City Hall, and can be picked up at the Open House on November 5.
