St. Amant Rescue Team responds to La. 22 accident

ST. AMANT – The St. Amant VFD Emergency Rescue Team responded to a vehicle accident on Oct. 26 on La. 22 in the St. Amant Community. The Rescue Team was dispatched around 7:30 a.m. 

     Reports from the scene report a Livingston Parish Resident was trapped in his vehicle for more than six hours, said Chief Officer James E. LeBlanc. Early reports stated that the accident occurred sometime on the night of Oct. 25 during the bad weather that came through the St. Amant Community. 

     The Livingston Parish resident was transported to a local facility with moderate injuries.

     The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Louisiana State Police, St. Amant Fire and Rescue Teams along with Acadian Ambulance responded to the call.
