APSO seeking burglary suspects, multiple cases

PRAIRIEVILLE – Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking the identity of the suspect responsible for burglarizing Mom’s Bar on La. 42, Prairieville.

     According to Major Kevin Hanna, the suspect made forced entry through the rear door and was captured on surveillance video using an axe to break into the juke box, electronic dart board, and an ATM machine. The suspect stole approximately $2,000.

     The suspect appears to have a medium build with facial hair.

GONZALES – Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking information on a suspect who is captured on surveillance video burglarizing a home on Bayou Narcisse Road near Highway 431. On Monday, October 19, the suspect broke into the homes garage and vehicles twice on the same night between midnight and sunrise. 

     According to Major Kevin Hanna, the suspect entered three vehicles, two that were parked in the driveway and one parked inside the garage, stealing a bicycle tool kit and a set of computer speakers.

     The suspect then returned a short time later and enters the garage again and enters the vehicle taking a plastic container with approximately $300 in quarters.

     The suspect appears to be a white male wearing a dark colored jacket, light colored pants, and a baseball cap. The second time the suspect returned, he was wearing a tank top style shirt and the same pants and hat.

     The suspect was seen driving a light colored car, possibly silver or white, added Major Hanna.

GONZALES – Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking the identity of a suspect that is responsible for burglarizing a Carwash. According to the investigation the burglary occurred on Oct. 21, just before midnight at the Bay Wash Carwash located on Airline Highway at Babin Road, Gonzales.

     According to Major Kevin Hanna, the suspect is captured on surveillance video climbing a pipe to the roof of the carwash. The suspect then cut through the mechanical room and entered the building, destroying the change machine. Approximately $400 in quarters and small bills were stolen from the machine.
