Ascension Parish Sheriff Jeff Wiley is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying suspects who were seen throwing rocks from the side of the road onto La. 30 between Clark Road and Williams Road on Friday, Sept. 11 damaging several vehicles.

Four vehicles were hit by rocks causing minor damage to all four vehicles. Deputies searched the area and located brown paper bags that contained fist-sized chunks of cement that matched the broken pieces found in the road and on some vehicles.

Several of the drivers reported seeing two juveniles in the area at the same time their vehicles were damaged.

They were described as average height, with one wearing a white t-shirt with blue shorts, and the other was wearing red shorts and a red t-shirt. Deputies canvassed the area but the two juveniles were not located.
