LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR OCT. 24 ELECTION

The last day to register to vote in the Oct. 24 election is Wednesday,

Sept. 23. Voters who need to make party changes, address changes within the parish, or name changes must be made by the Sept. 23 deadline. If a voter has moved into Ascension Parish from another parish or state, the voter must register in Ascension Parish.

     Early voting will begin on Saturday, Oct. 10 through Saturday, Oct. 17, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

     Early voting is conducted in the Registrar of Voters offices in Gonzales (828 S. Irma Blvd., room 205) and in Donaldsonville (300 Houmas St., suite B).
