PRAIRIEVILLE – Five business women will be featured at the September Ascension GOP Roundtable sponsored by Ascension Republican Women. The Roundtable will be held on Sept. 17 at 11:30 a.m. at Galvez Seafood, 40306 La. 42, Suite 9, Prairieville.  There will be a meet and greet before the meeting, slated to begin at noon.

     The spolighted speakers include Teri Casso, Ascension Parish Councilwoman and previous owner of On the Half Shell restaurant. Casso will speak on her new role as Executive Director of St. Elizabeth’s Foundation, an adoption agency.  She plans to reveal the wonderful and amazing experiences she has had with birth mothers and adoptive parents.

Beth Alford is the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Properties on La. 44, Gonzales and has been in real estate sales for 18 years. Lynelle Johnson-Nugent and her husband, Gary, own and operate, Community Auto Specialists, Inc., a car dealership and body shop, and Nugent Properties. Pam Alonso is a paralegal, notary and owner of Notary Depot, Geismar.  

Gina McBride, an officer with Ascension Republican Women,  is an Ascension Parish notary who works closely with Pam Alonso at Notary Depot.

     ARW’s theme for the St. Theresa Food Bank, is “Red Beans and Rice” featuring Louisiana products. Members and guests are asked to bring either dried or canned red or white beans and packages of rice to this and any ARW event.
