Baton Rouge Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation to host Candlelight Vigil

BATON ROUGE - The Baton Rouge Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation will host its second Annual Candlelight Vigil Sunday, Sept. 13 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The vigil will honor those who lived with Sickle Cell Disease.

The Baton Rouge Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation, Inc is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that services more than 600 people in 11 parishes. The foundation to provides financial and advocacy supportive services, treatment to support to enhance the quality of life for those suffering from sickle cell disease and education services to the general public about the sickle cell disease.
