NEW ORLEANS - The Saints have agreed to a trade that would send tight end Jimmy Graham to Seattle, along with a 4th round pick in exchange for center Max Unger and a first-round pick.

Jimmy Graham was one of the highest paid Saints players, making approximately $9 million per year.

The deal gives the Saints much-needed cap relief and some certainty at the key center position.

Graham was actually coming off of somewhat of a down year, though he still made the Pro Bowl.

Graham had a long, drawn-out negotiation with the team last offseason and was kept at a new high contract for tight ends. He ended up catching 85 passes for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns, but that was down from the year before when he had 86 catches for 1,215 yards and 16 scores.

Graham's top season was in 2011 when he caught 99 passes for 1,310 yards and 11 touchdowns.
