Woman wanted for stealing at St. Elizabeth Hospital

Gonzales Police Detective Sgt. Steven Nethken reports the GPD is looking for a woman who, on Feb. 02, entered St. Elizabeth’s Medical Plaza II located on Highway 30 in Gonzales, and stole an employee’s debit card from a purse.

The suspect entered numerous offices, some of which are not open to the general public. Inside one of the offices, the suspect stole an employee’s debit card from a purse, which she used approximately 10 minutes later at Bath & Body Works located in the Tanger Mall. The suspect vehicle was not captured on video but was described as a white Dodge Durango.

Investigators have been in contact with Baton Rouge Police Department relative to a press release conducted by them on Feb. 18 picturing the same female. Investigators also believe the images are that of the same suspect in both the Gonzales case and BRPD case.
