JFA, Lamar-Dixon partner for Sportsman's Show, Jambalaya and Crackin Contest

The Lamar Dixon Expo Center and the Jambalaya Festival Association have partnered to bring the 2015 Louisiana Sportsman’s Show and a Jambalaya and Cracklin contest to Ascension Parish on March 14 and 15.

The JFA’s Board of Directors invites all cooks to participate in this Jambalaya and Cracklin contest.

Heat 1 and 2 begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 14 concluding with Finals at 7 a.m. on Sunday, March 15. Announcement of winners will take place around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Winners will receive plaques for first, second, and third place with the overall winner also receiving a cash prize.
