Ascension Idol-Voice announces top 20 finalists

Gonzales – Ascension Idol-Voice announces their Top 20 Finalists and Judges Panel for their fifth annual singing competition to be held on Friday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at the Gonzales Civic Center.

Finalists include:

Austin Brunner – East Ascension High School

Lauren Delhaye – St. Amant High School

Courtney Fassbender – St. Amant High School

Maya Fernbaugh – Prairieville Middle School

Ethan Glover – Dutchtown High School

Tyler Gremillion – St. Amant High School

Bobbie Leigh Henderson – St. Amant High School

Rachel Hurt – St. Amant High School

Carleigh Keller – St. Amant High School

Briana Kent – Dutchtown High School

Britny Landry – St. Amant High School

Ashlie McGowan – Ascension Christian School

Carley Nickens – St. Amant High School

Camille Nolan – East Ascension High School

Madeline Ringwald – Dutchtown High School

BreAsia Robinson – East Ascension High School

Ariana Robinson – Dutchtown High School

Kandace Scioneaux – Galvez Middle School

Cameron Soulier – East Ascension High School

Baylee Sullivan – Dutchtown Middle School

Each contestant will be able to perform one song for our panel of local celebrity judges.  Based on the judges’ scores, the top five will perform another song and then the first, second and third place winners will be announced.  Celebrity Judges include, Charlotte Guedry, Darryl Hambrick, Jenny Heroman, Julie Jones and Mike Waguespack.

First Place winner will receive a trip to Disney World, second place wins a large screen HDTV and third place will receive an iPad Mini. 

During the event, spectators will also be able to cast votes for their Fan Favorite for $1 per vote.

Ascension Idol-Voice is an annual fundraiser for The Ascension Fund, a non-profit organization that administers a grant program for teachers and schools in the Ascension Parish public school system.
