On January 31, APSO deputies responded to Spanky’s Bar located at 17316 Airline Highway in reference to a burglary complaint, according to Chief Deputy Tony Bacala.

During the course of the investigation it was learned that an unknown offender forcefully gained entry through the front doors the business. Through video surveillance it was revealed that once the front doors were compromised the suspect entered the business with what appears to be a tow strap and the suspect is seen wrapping the tow strap around an ATM machine. The suspect then exits the business, said Chief Bacala.

Shortly after, the ATM, along with an Arcade gaming machine was observed being dragged out of the business leaving severe damage to the front of the business. The ATM was located in the parking lot with the money drawer still intact. The suspect was wearing a jacket with what appeared to be reflectors in multiple areas of the jackets.
