APSO looking for Sorrento Lumber thief
Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Major Kevin Hanna is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual that is responsible for breaking into Sorrento Lumber Company this past Sunday night, January 2.
The Sheriff’s Office received a burglar alarm at the business at approximately 7 p.m. Sunday night. The responding deputy arrived on scene approximately 3 minutes after being dispatched to discover the businesses front glass was busted.
Surveillance video captured the suspect, rummaging through the store. At this point of the investigation nothing appears to have been stolen. It appears the suspect has a cigarette in his mouth and is wearing a shirt with the word “CLASSIC” is written on the rear of it.
