Ascension Parish Christmas Tree Recycle event ends Jan. 11

GONZALES – Ascension Parish President Tommy Martinez announced today parish government will hold a Christmas tree recycle drop-off event on Friday, Jan. 2 through Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015 at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales.

The expo center is located at 9039 St. Landry Road.

After parish residents enter the expo center’s main gate on St. Landry Road, the drop off area will be the unpaved parking area on the right side as you enter the property.

Parish officials said trees must not have any decorations or stands on them.
