Post Office Road at La. 73 to Close For Roadway Construction

PRAIRIEVILLE – Ascension Parish President Tommy Martinez announced Friday Post Office Road will close at its intersection with La. 73 on Monday, Dec. 15, 2014 at 8 a.m. and reopen on Thursday, Dec. 18 at 5 p.m. for roadway construction.

Aaron Elisar, project engineer with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, said crews will remove and replace the existing roadway surfacing and base course in order to tie in to the new grade of La. 73.

Access to Post Office Road will be available from U.S. Highway 61 (Airline Highway).
