APSO searching for Gonzales woman for theft and forgery charges

Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Chief Tony Bacala is asking for the public’s help locating 29-year-old Dinea Himel on theft and forgery charges.

On November 26, the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office began investigating a forgery complaint on a Himel who attempted to cash a forged, stolen check at a local grocery story in Gonzales. She was unsuccessful in doing so and later learned that Himel cashed a check in the amount of $555 at another local grocery store in Gonzales.

Himel, 29, of 13469 Bayou Grand South, Gonzales is wanted for theft and forgery.
