Prairieville mother, daughter arrested on drug charges

Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for only having one headlight on Tuesday, December 9.

According to Chief Deputy Tony Bacala, while detectives were conducting the traffic stop they noticed that the occupants of the vehicle identified as Terry and Christina Grosse were very nervous. The vehicle was found to have no insurance and detectives located a pill bottle that contained a legend drug identified as Buspipone Hydrochloride (byoo-SPY-rone HIGH-droe-KLOR-ide).

Detectives also located a quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

Terry Grosse, 54, of 43264 Moody Dixon, lot 7, Prairieville, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a legend drug, no insurance, and headlights required.

Christina Grosse, 33, of 43264 Moody Dixon Road, lot 44, Prairieville, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were booked into the Ascension Parish Jail awaiting bond.
