Early voting for Dec. 6 election begin Nov. 22


The early voting for the Dec. 6 election begins on Saturday, Nov. 22, through Saturday, Nov. 29. This is Thanksgiving week and there will be no early voting on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, the 27 and Friday, the 28. Early voting will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 29th. The hours of early voting are from 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.

This election is a runoff for U.S. Senator, U.S. Congressional Representative District 6, and Public Service Commission and School Board District 1 in Donaldsonville.

Early voting is conducted in the Registrar of Voters offices in Gonzales at 828 S Irma Blvd, Room 205 and in Donaldsonville at 300 Houmas St., Suite B.

Voters are urged to check their registration and be informed of their polling location. Voters may use the website at www.geauxvote.com or call the Registrar of Voters offices at 225-621-5780 (Gonzales) or 225-473-7906 (Donaldsonville).
