It’s grand opening time for Kidz Kove Discovery Park, and the Board of Directors says it “couldn’t be prouder.” Join Project Kidz Kove Board of Directors Saturday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. for a short ribbon cutting ceremony, and official turning-over of the park to the City of Gonzales. There will be food, friendship and fun at the park at 112 Francois Avenue and Cornerview Street in Gonzales next to the new Gonzales Police Station. All kids will be able to enjoy this park with their friends and families everyday from then on.

“Project Kidz Kove could not have done this in such a short period of time without all of you,” the board said in a release, “from the Boy Scouts’ coins and the little lady who periodically sent in her $20 check, to the hundred thousand dollar sponsors, sincere thanks to all who had a hand in helping to raise the funds to build and provide this park.”
