ACOA hosts political forum for seniors

Candidates await their turn to speak to Ascension Senior citizens at the political forum at Ascension Council on Aging.

Ascension Council on Aging hosted a political forum for Ascension Parish senior citizens on Thursday, October 2 at the Gonzales Senior Center.  Over 60 senior citizens from the east bank and west bank of the parish attended.  Candidates who participated were:

Mediator for the event was Clay Schexnayder who is currently serving as Louisiana State Representative for District 81.  Executive Director, Darlene Schexnayder planned this event so that senior citizens of Ascension Parish could have the open opportunity to meet the candidates and ask questions about their concerns.
