On September 12, the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotic and Juvenile Division began an investigation that resulted in the arrest of four Ascension Parish residents.

Major Kevin Hanna advised that detectives received information about drugs being used and possibly given to juveniles at the home of Jose Josh Hernandez, 36, of 11129 Martin Road in Gonzales.  During the course of the investigation detectives developed information that indicated Jose Hernandez was possibly participating in sexual activities with the minors and providing them with marijuana.

A search warrant was obtained and executed on the residence where detectives located Jose and Simeon Hernandez, a roommate and acquaintance of Jose.  During the search detectives found marijuana, a handgun, and drug paraphernalia in Jose’s possession.  Both Jose and Simeon admitted to detectives of having intercourse with juveniles.
