LADOTD Project Engineer Aaron Elisar announced Friday intermittent lane closures are scheduled to begin on LA 3251 between LA 30 and LA 75. These lane closures are needed for crews to perform all necessary work for the milling, stabilization, and overlay of LA 3251. This work is part of LADOTD Project H.010533 – LA 3251 Milling, Stabilization, and Overlay. The lane closures will begin on Monday, August 4, 2014 and will be during the following times:

Daytime weekday lane closures will be allowed Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Nighttime weekday lane closures will be allowed Monday to Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

Weekend lane closures will be allowed from Friday 6:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday morning.

Permit loads over 11' wide will have to take an alternate route as per Julie's request.  The anticipated completion date for this project is Friday, December 19, 2014. All lanes will be open during the Labor Day and Thanksgiving holiday periods.

“DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and to be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment,” Elisar said.
