Lake Urgent Care’s three locations in Prairieville and Gonzales are slashing prices for physicals until September 1.  All locations will be participating in a half-off promotion (50 percent) for sports, camp, or back to school physicals.  In addition to the discount, patients will have the opportunity to designate a school for Lake Urgent Care to make a $5 donation for each physical.

Lake Urgent Care provides walk-in care for minor illnesses and injuries.  Conditions treated include ear and eye infections, fever, minor cuts that may need stitches, possible broken bones or simple fractures, minor skin infections, severe sore throat, sprains and strains, vomiting and diarrhea.  The clinics are equipped with advanced technology including digital x-ray and an electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Lake Urgent Care’s three clinics operate as a joint venture of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, St. Elizabeth Hospital and Ascension Urgent Care.  Dr. Glen Neal serves as medical director of the three clinics. Dr. Neal offers more than a decade of experience specifically in urgent care settings, bringing his knowledge of the community and the area’s specific needs to each of the clinics.
