St. Amant native Lindsey Boley awarded LSU University Medal

BATON ROUGE – Lindsey Boley, a native of St. Amant, was one of 53 graduating seniors in LSU’s spring 2014 class to receive the prestigious University Medal during a ceremony on May 15 in the LSU Union Theater.

The event was held as part of the university’s 283rd commencement exercises. The medalists were also recognized during the main commencement ceremony later that evening in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

Boley, who majored in architecture, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Art & Design.

The University Medal is awarded to those undergraduates who finish with the highest grade point averages in each LSU graduating class.
