When DeAundre Smith committed to Lurleen B. Wallace Community College to play basketball, he knew he made the right decision that would impact not only his next four years but his next 40 years.

With the help of NCSA Athletic Recruiting, Smith was given the opportunity and technology to be proactive in his recruiting process while being educated on the steps he needed to take to achieve his ultimate goal of playing college basketball.

Smith will be attending Lurleen B. Wallace Community College – a two year community college located in Andalusia, AL – to play for the Saints. He was recruited as a point guard, the position he has desired to play throughout his past four years.

Smith attended East Ascension High School where he had success in both academics and athletics, keeping up his grades and being a three-year Varsity starter. His hard work and dedication in the recruiting process paid off as he strived to be a leader in both sports and in his community and as a result, he has been rewarded with the opportunity to play the sport he loves at the next level.
