Domestic Violence Awareness Golf Tournament set for Oct. 7

Women Outreaching Women will be holding a golf tournament Oct. 7 at Greystone Country Club in Denham Springs to raise funds to support the emergency shelter for battered women and children.

Registration will be at 12 a.m. with a shotgun start at 2 p.m.  Entry fee is $500 per four-man team with 18 holes of golf, dinner, prizes for top-10 scores, poker run, door prizes and silent auctions. 

There will also be raffling a membership to Greystone Country Club, and one lucky golfer could win a new vehicle courtesy of AllStar Dodge.
