The Scholar Shop

 The Scholar Shop held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, July 11, announcing the opening of their new facility at 14210 Airline Highway Suite F, Gonzales.

The Scholar Shop provides an assortment of educational resources and supplies for educators, parents and the community at reasonable prices. Their hours of operation are 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Mon.-Fri.; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Sat.

Attending the ribbon cutting were: Owners Dwayne and Rosalyn Magee, Ascension Parish Chief Executive Assistant Ken Dawson, Ascension Parish Public Information Officer Lester Kenyon, Ascension Chamber Board member Rae Milano, friends and fellow Chamber members.  Ambassadors in attendance were Cheryl Rice, Carol Pierce, Polly Whitfield, Gasper Chifici and Scott Banker.
