MONDAY FORECAST ... Afternoon showers likely

The pattern of hot weather and rainy afternoons continues for the next week.

The work week kicks off with a 50 percent chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, some possibly heavy.

Highs will only reach tthe low to upper 80s under mostly cloudy skies.

Overnight lows will drop to the mid 70s.

The rain chance increases to 60 percent for Tuesday, with highs in the upper 80s and lows dipping to the lower 70s.

Rain chances will remain at least 50 percent each day through the middle of next week.
