“The City of Central has always been on the forefront of providing  outstanding facilities, programs and opportunities for our youth, now with the opening of the East Baton Rouge Council on Aging Program here in the City of Central we have the opportunity to continue the legacy by providing new programs and opportunities to our cherished seniors,” says Central Mayor Shelton “Mac” Watts. “Welcome to Central, Council on Aging.”

The EBRCOA has nineteen sites throughout the parish of East Baton Rouge Parish where the elderly can participate in a variety of senior-specific programs dedicated to ensuring that they live long, independent lives and remain engaged members of the communities they help to build.
