MONDAY'S FORECAST ... Very little rain, plenty of heat

The weather forecast has shifted for the better following the change in Tropical Storm Debby's direction.

Expect dry, sunny skies and brutal heat for much of the week.

Monday kicks off with a high of 99. Remember to drink plenty of liquids and protect animals exposed to the heat for extended periods of time.

Only a 10 percent chance of rain is in the forecast. Lows will drop to the mid 70s.

A very similar forecast brings us into Tuesday, when highs will reach 98 or above. Only a slight chance of rain is expected.

Low Tuesday night will be 73.
