Bring Teddy Bears
November is National Hospice Month and Teddy Bear collection time for SouthernCare Hospice. We collect the bears for our hospice patients. Teddy Bears have been around for more than one hundred years. In that time they have served as everything from decoration to toys bringing joy and comfort to many. No matter what your age, when life brings changes and challenges it feels good to have your own special bear filled with love.
Bring an unused Teddy Bear, after you have filled it with love, to our office at 17316 Airline Highway, Suite P, Prairieville, and they will gently carry them to the patients who will continue to love them. If you have questions, call the office at 225-673-9949 and ask for Volunteer Services Coordinator Beth Roberts Evason.
