East Ascension volleyball advances

East Ascension's volleyball team topped Denaham Springs 3-0 in the opening round of the playoffs on Wednesday.

Kandis Carter had 14 kills for the Spartans. Celeste Finley accounted for 32 assists. Alecia Gutierrez finished with 11 kills and 7 digs.
